Star Wars: The Ultimate Vinyl Collection!!

The original SW soundtracks reissued on vinyl. I hope that means that these are indeed the actual pre-special edition soundtracks and Yub Nub and Lapti Nek are back.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

From what I read, yes, they are. But I already have those on vinyl, so it's a pass for me. The $270 price tag is a bit off putting too.

Amazon's pre-order is a little cheaper at $230. It's still expensive but, when you consider there are 11 LPs in the set, it's really not unreasonable.

I think the most important thing to take from this is Disney is officially acknowledging the original pre-special edition soundtracks (and movies).

Yes, good point. Non-canon musical cues being marketed is a good first step.

Yeah, the last time the original theatrical soundtracks were officially available was over 20 years ago now with the Anthology box set in 93. So, it's a fairly big deal.

Already have all the original LPs (including all the spin-off ones), but it's nice to see the original recordings again.
