A Jedi walks into a bar...

Seems like Hammill got rid of his "contractually obligated" Jedi beard:

Does this mean Luke gets a close shave by Kylo Ren, or that his role is already done?
Filming is beginning on Ep VIII, so I don't see him sticking on a fake beard for that...

PS: I really like his "We don't serve their kind" stance!

Luke might shave in the movie.

Mark has plenty of time to grow it back when it's time to film his scenes.

I'd love to see Luke turn bad

If there's going to be three more movies i'm guessing that's inevitable

If Luke doesn't turn bad (at least for a little while) his character will be soooooo boring

I never understand why people need to see their heroes fall, and even look forward to it.
It's like wanting Superman to get arrested for indecent exposure.
Maybe Captain America can get caught with a bag of meth, wouldn't that be awesome? I think not...

          Preach it!
If Luke Sykwalker turns to the Dark Side, it invalidates the entire point of the Original Trilogy.
Mark Hamill plays a great bad guy (especially his voice work as the Joker), but for Star Wars?!?!? No... Just... No.

i agree. to have him turn would be a major misstep for Disney. I don't think it invalidates the original trilogy though. the original movies were about Vaders redemption ultimately

He might have shaved his beard for the Flash...I hear the Trickster isn't finished just yet.

I also say no to evil Luke Sykwalker.

It would never be the same ever again. (like evil Crockett on Miami Vice)

Had Vader lived after redemption, no one would trust him.

Mark could have sold his beard on eBay!

I think he gave it to 3PO, so the droid can sneak into the Cantina...
