I can't see it, it would be another Liz Shaw situation.

Pretty good episode tonight. One of the best of recent seasons, IMHO. Great to see the Zygons back.

It was good with a great cliffhanger. Surprised at how much of it mirrored today, Who rarely does that. The scene with the soldiers at the church was straight up Martian Chronicles.

It has been announced that the show will be around at least until 2020 with Capaldi returning for a third season.

In the shortrun it's good news but in the long run I think they might produce better shows if they think they may get cancelled at anytime

I'm glad that Capaldi is on board for another season, I can't help but love this incarnation. If he could just ditch the sonic glasses, he can even keep the guitar!
The "immigrants" storyline feels a bit too "down out throats", but so far it's pretty suspenseful.

I loved the portrait of William Hartnell, nice nod there....

Yeah I'd be fine with the guitar staying but the Sonic glasses aren't growing on me.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I know they should bug me but they don't (the glasses)

I think because it's an older Doctor.

If somebody like Tennant or Smith had them glasses I think i'd be in more of an uproar.

 Same with the guitar.

My only problem with the whole thing is the Beethoven --- dum-dum-dum-dum ..... Which always reminds me of Judge Judy (it's her show's them song" Comment

I've really enjoyed this season so far and I'm glad to hear that Capaldi is going to stick with it for another season. The sonic sunglasses are growing on me and I do enjoy his guitar interactions (a sonic guitar is a fabulous idea, by the way; I can see it slung over his back and him hitting certain string combos to activate different functions. The only drawback I could see is that it would be difficult to use in very close quarters). I wonder if that's actually Capaldi playing? And if the guitar is going to become a Twelve mainstay, I do wish they would use the more guitar-heavy theme that used in "Before the Flood."

I really like Clara as an evil-doer.sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.Comment

In a vague sense I guess, as I find them both served with a strong dash of Sherlock Holmes but that's where the similarities end because Capaldi and Grant are very different actors. The 12th is at times aloof and unaware of being insensitive, Grant's Doctor seems fully aware that he's being a dick. Was the Shalka Doctor any influence on Capaldi's Doctor ?

Part 2 of the Zygon story was pretty decent tonight. Capaldi is consistently great. They're even writing Clara to be less annoying this season, which is good.
Some great lines in tonight's episode... "I'm old enough to be your messiah!"PUNY HUMANS!Comment
