I just can't get to liking the new stormtroopers, I been in the Rebel Legion and 501st several years now and most folks there like them, just looks to me like they have a stupid smile on their helmet face lol.

Its nothing more than just a shame! They Should have made this movie with the classic characters 16 years ago. Instead we got the abominations! Luke is now nothing more than the Old man in a Robe! Sixteen years ago we could have seen him in some action. Old Han and Older Leia. This Movie can only go one way. No thanks No thanks!

Agreed with the hype Phantom Menace had, if it was an average movie if would have become the highest grossing movie of all time.
I will be passing on TFA , its too little , too late.

I don't think Phantom Menace is an apt comparison. Phantom Menace didn't have a screen play by Lawrence Kasdan. Force Awakens may not turn out to be the Star Wars sequel I've personally wanted all these years. But I am sure it will still be an excellent movie.

And I'm grateful to see my heroes back, even when they're old.
I'm looking forward to it, and if you aren't confident, don't go see it and ignore it. It's an easy fix.

Btw, even though I didn't love the prequels like I did the OT, I still liked big parts of them. So my advice would be, get over it and move on!
Holding on to your frustration about the prequels will lead you to the Dark Side.

agreed. the prequels were by no means perfect, but they did have good moments in each. I like them for what they are, not hate them for what they aren't
