That was really awesome. The beginning was kind of surreal for me because I'm really familiar with the area where it was filmed, right in front of Shibuya station. That dog statue (Hachiko!) is a famous landmark for people to meet up, including me. At first I was trying to find the statue in some shots, and then bam, there it is in full closeup and shaking. Definitely strange seeing modern FX with the old 60's themesong! This is a film I would happily watch!

After decades of short-armed Ultramen...it's refreshing to see a lean and long armed Ultraman, about friggin time, lol.

BTW, the damage being done here is much worse than in Man of Steel...just saying...

I really dig the details of this motion-capture Ultraman...such as his muscles and tendons twitching in his ankle area before delivering the kick...pretty cool.

Boo to the current cinema system! I miss the days when a screen or two at the local 'plex would show indy and foreign releases. Now Hollywood remakes them? ***!?

This movie and the Titan flick both look super fun, intriguing and capable of an audience in the States.

Didn't know an American version was in the works. Let's hope corporate studio types don't screw this up like they do all the other Japanese stuff they try to adapt.

This looks very cool, I have a DVD set of Ultraman that has the first 20 episodes, wish I could run across some more, I found it at Dollar General of all places.
