Classic Star Wars trilogy deleted scenes.

Fascinating pieces of history. But I can honestly see why they were left on the cutting room floor.

    Star Wars

I have to admit, I find the infamous Tosche Station stuff kinda dull and it would have just slowed down the movie.

    Empire

    Mostly lots of alternate takes.

    Jedi

I rather like the sandstorm scene.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I've always loved the Biggs & Luke scenes. Their conversation when Biggs tells Luke he's joining the Rebellion is great. Well acted by Hagon and Hamill.

The Empire scenes are cool. The small scenes like Lobot's capture on Cloud City are really neat.

The Sandstorm scene from Jedi is a favourite of mine. They built the partial full size Falcon on the soundstage, only to cut it out of the finished movie!
Luke assembling his lightsabre is also brilliant.

The "Jerjerrod's Conflict" scenes are amazing, and I really wish they'd been kept in the film. The turmoil Jerjerrod feels when he has to give the order to destroy the Endor Moon really comes across.
    PUNY HUMANS!

I have a passion for all deleted Star Wars scenes. That and rare Star Wars photos make me melt. Doesn't matter that they slow the pace, or don't work that well. There's magic in those frames. What kills me is the crummy way in which they were presented on the Blu Ray. Then, when they released the E-Book versions of Rinzler's Making of Books, they included tons more outtakes, deletions, and test shots that could've and should've been on the Blu Ray. So any fan who wants to really spend time exploring the cutting room floor material of the most important film franchise of all time, will have a hard time doing it in any coherent, meaningful way. Frustrating. Sorry for the rant.

But gosh, I do love Star Wars deleted Scenes.

I've never seen any of these. This is awesome. It gives me a new perspective on how the story progressed. I just watched A New Hope and will check the others out. Great find, thanks for posting.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I agree and glad most were cut from the Movies. At one point seeing anything new is so cool but after a few quick looks its best it was cut. I had seen the Wampa attack the Hoth Snowtrooper-(C3po-opens door) years ago that was cut out. That scene might have been able to have worked for a brief comedy moment.

There was an R2 style droid with a clear top in one of the scenes that were deleted. He was really cool looking and now I want a custom!

A lot of R2 Builders make that clear dome R2 full scale. Pretty neat.

Sometimes it does make sense to cut scenes, but I still love to see them separately, because they give you that bit of extra info to flesh out that universe.

I'd love to have all this on BR/DVD, no matter what the quality of images.
