Sad news indeed, Whitney turned her life around and I was so glad Rand had some cameos in Trek films. I always thought her character had potential. I need to check out her performances in some Trek fan episodes, too.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Just read that this morning. Very sad indeed. That original Enterprise is growing quiet. RIP Grace.

She wanted to be remembered more for being someone who conquered substance addiction than Trek. I think she can be applauded for both. Rest in peace, Yeoman Rand.

Dying at 85 is beating substance abuse. An early crush for many of us, she made Charlie X plausible. Peace be with her.

She really had a rough life, and turned it around. I have tremendous respect for her because of this. Rest in Peace.

One by one, those who shaped our childhood leave us. It'll be odd once they are all gone.

This is the sad truth, Our Parents, our young friends, our teachers, our Idols, ONE BY ONE THEY LEFT A HUGE IMPRESSION ON OUR LIVES AND SHAPPED THE PERSON WE ARE TODAY.
They leave us with a little something of them inside each of us, that they hope will live on, through us, as well as when we, like them pass it on to the newer generation.
This in a way is a form for us to all live on past our time and gain a little bit of immortality.
