You may or may not have guessed that Han bites the bullet in this movie- which he does, apparently. But worse still is this rumor that has been making the rounds on the internet: Luke doesn't show up until the final minutes of the movie (apart from another rumor that he shows up briefly in rumored flashback scene). Further, don't expect him to be much of anything, either. The one site that is the source of these rumors is www.makingstarwars.net and they've been pretty credible about these types things. Unless J.J. Abrams has a disinformation campaign feeding bogus reports to this guy, he has been pretty much been proven to be a straight shooter. This movie is more Han Solo's movie than it is really Luke's or Leia's. And I'm afraid, once again, we get a super-weapon (or two) that can destroy planets and stuff.
The 'Big 3' have no scenes together. R2D2 and 3P0 have smaller roles than before. Movie just as well have been called- Star Wars Ep. 7: The Search for Luke. Or- Star Wars Ep. 7: The Lost Lightsaber. This movie is more about establishing a new generation of characters than keeping the OT characters front and center.
