    Mad Max Fury Road

Just found out that Hugh Keays-Byrne, the ToeCutter in the original Max movie, is back as the new bad guy, Immortan Joe.
I know that Toecutter was originally splattered across the road, but could he possibly have survived?
The new villain is on a kind of oxygen support system (which he carries on his back), so maybe it's that old nemesis for real?

    That would be really cool...

I'm looking forward to this film, much more than Avengers and Star Wars

The movie seems to be condensing several aspects from the three earlier movies.
I'll go see it, but I'm not entirely convinced.

I think the trailers keep getting better, makes me look forward to it with great anticipation.

One major drawback though, is the obvious use of CGI. Part of the charm of the original films is the amazing stunt work and stunt driving. Several stuntmen were injured in the making of both Mad Max and The Road Warrior....it was a literal demolition derby on film. I don't want to see anyone get hurt mind you, but CGI just takes away from the daredevil aspects of the originals. It's like that was a real car, real motorcycle, now you know the slam bang-jump-whatever was done by a technician working behind a computer.

Tom Hardy is a great actor, perfect choice for Max.

Apparently hardy has signed on for three sequels?
                  Anybody else here this?

                      Sounds good.
Three extra movies might be a bit much, but let's check out the first one and take it from there.
It sure beats another three Avatar movies...
