    Jupiter Ascending

2015 version of Battlefield Earth, lol.

The movie is visually stunning...but oh boy, it's really, really bad...but it's so bad that somehow became watchable..

I see it becoming a cult classic down the line.

I felt insulted when I had to sit through the trailer.

I have no plans to waste money on going to see this movie at the theaters or even redbox. When it makes the movie channels I will watch it then.

It was visually spectacular, but it felt like there was too much story, and not enough time to tell it.

Saw it on Friday. Visually very impressive, and I like the premise of the movie a lot. The action scenes are top notch, and Mila Kunis is adorable as Jupiter.

As far as the overall tone and feel of the movie, it's like a really fun hybrid of The Matrix, Dune, John Carter, Chronicles of Riddick and Terry Gilliam's Brazil.
(And speaking of Gilliam, watch for his cool cameo appearance.)

I've seen far, far worse big budget sci-fi pictures over the years, believe me.

I'll wait for video, but I just love the title of this film.

From the outside, a lot of Japanese anime looks like a trainwreck... but once you go with it, it actually is really cool. I was kind of hoping that is how this film would be.

The Matrix is a classic. I love Speed Racer... despite what everybody says about it. I think the Wachowskis have a lot of talent, when they can channel it into the right direction.

Wachowski Bros. (woops I mean bro and sis?) lost their "talent" long ago!

Someone gave me a gift card for the area movie theater and I was going to see this- despite how bad it is. Up to now, I no intention of seeing it. But with the bad reviews, I kind of feel compelled to see it.

As I said, while visually stunning...dialogue like the following (and uttered with a straight face)...makes you roll up your eyes, and laugh out loud...

“Bees are genetically designed to recognize royalty"...and sure enough...Jupiter gets the royal treatment from the bees...

Eddie Redmayne gives out one of the worst and silliest performances in the history of cinema...the dude is horrible, lol.

Amazing, because he is in fact an excellent actor, gaining buzz for his performance in the Hawking biopic.

He might win both and Oscar and Razzie at the same time.

Oh, and Channing Tatum looks ridiculous as a half doggie dude, lol.

Earth's fate relying at the hands of a toilet bowl cleaner...

I'm telling you, this movie is worth going to...so bad, that it's almost brilliant, lol.
