I think you are right, and this is more of Marvel pushing the Inhumans front and center, replacing the mutants & The X-Men. Pretty smart, too, getting the name out there and familar to the public years before a movie. Don't be surprised to see more Inhumans show up in the next few Marvel movies. Marvel has a big push this week for the Inhumans comic book, implying some radical changes are coming to key character origins. I would not be surprised to see Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch reimagined in time for Avengers 2. The Kree bit sets up Captain Marvel nicely too.
