    It's nice but seems kinda pricey for only 12" long.

      Not really.
      Kits aren't as cheap as they used to be.
      And since this one has resin add-on parts to augment the production model, it's gonna be a little more pricey.
      The regular version retails for about $30.

          I bought that regular Eagle kit for $14.99 in the year 1999. The regular kit alone is now $26.99. The Lab Pod add-on details are made by Space:1999 afficianado E. James SMall. They are in resin-not styrene and they look beautiful.

            Very nice.
            But me and my Product Enterprise Eagle have been happliy together for some years now.

            Still, there's something to having a fleet of Eagles, parked on a lunar surface...
