In Star Trek 6 -The Undiscovered Country-the original casts last film together, remember when Kirk and McCoy are on the ice flow and McCoy says I cant' make it-go without me? You can see DeForest Kelly's face in the parka. You can tell he's in the scene but you never see Shatner's face in the other parka. I could swear he's not in the scene at all. It's just a stand in and they used voice-over. I think Shat didn't feel like doing that scene and they did it without him.

I heard (at the time)
All of those scenes were filmed in Alaska with only doubles.....
At the same time they were being filmed, Shat and McCoy were in Hollywood filming other scenes.
The studio filmed a few ice scenes ON A SOUND STAGE with the real Shat and McCoy to edit in with their double's scenes from Alaska. -
Are you telling me that they were not really on Rurapent-a at all???“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment

Even so I can't see Shat's face in that parka at all. I think it was one of those occassions he opted out of a scene he had to share with a co-star.Comment
