The latest in the Star Wars Ep. 7 rumor mill (Massive Spoilers).

So I've been perusing SW spoiler forums and blogs here and there and the latest bit about the finale of The Force Awakens could possibly be equivalent to the ESB conclusion, but with more people divided. Apparently Han's son, played by Adam Driver (who's been acknowledged to be the trilogy's main villain- in the vein of Vader), confronts Luke but Han gets in between the conflict and Luke has no other choice but to strike down Han to get to Driver (and as a result, kills Han). Various 'credible' sources have pretty much confirmed this. I know it's pretty much a given that Han would die in this movie, but if true, I think it's pretty ballsy of J.J. to have Han dies at the hands of Luke. I thought Han would die heroically while flying the Falcon.

Also, the SW Ep. 7 teaser trailer allegedly will be released with The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies on December 14 (which would almost be exactly one year before the release of The Force Awakens on December 15th, 2015).

Hmmmmm. A iconic hero killing another iconic hero who saved his life from the first film? I'm not sure if that's ballsy or incredibly stupid. I wouldn't have Han die from what constitutes "friendly fire". Bad move if true.

There was a similar rumor about Empire involving Luke, Han and Vader.

        That all sounds very uplifting.
Maybe they should rename the movie "Han Solo Must Die!", or some other catchy title.
How about this: Han tries to save his son, and gets killed by Luke. Leia cries out "Noooooooo!!!!!" and shoots Luke. She then dies of "a broken heart", or "no will to live".

        That should clear everything up.
And don't forget: Luke must turn to the Dark Side, of course.

Star Wars fan these days are a pretty depressed bunch, really.
I wouldn't be surprised to find 3PO selling his X-rated trading card to young Jawas and R2 working in a brothel (all he needs are a few extra tools to make him fully functional)...

I hope this turns out to be false...because having Luke Kill Han, will end my interest in these movies quick!

Maybe Luke will kill Han, but then Yoda (now voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch) will be found to be alive and his blood will revive him.......
                It's all good!

I have heard this rumor as well. I believe they are just putting disinformation out there (like the Gary Mitchell stuff from Star Trek Into Darkness). It would be cinematic suicide for Luke to kill Han. My feelings are Han will die in these new films and that is likely to be in the first film. I felt from the beginning that was one of the things that drew Harrison Ford back to the series. He notoriously wanted Han to die in ROTJ and Lucas wouldn't do it. Not sure how they will go about it, but I just don't believe they would do something as drastic as Luke killing Han.
                    Looking for:

--Lion Rock "Mr Rock's" shoes/ boots (these may also be the same as the lion rock monster line boots)

                    --Mystery Astronaught

If Han's kid is suppose to be the new bad guy,it'd make more sense for him to kill Han.

That's likely to be more accurate. I will say though, having a new face to the movies be the one that kills such a beloved character may also be just as bad an idea as an established character. All I can say is if any of these new faces kill Han, they better be a worthy character. Han was always a survivor. It should take somebody that is absolutely bad *** to kill him. And that doesn't mean resurrect Boba Fett either (never understood the hype about him anyway- expanded universe aside, all he did was follow Han and crew in Empire and then call Vader to come pick them up ).

I would not kill any original cast until episode 8 myself. Make sure these new kids can be established and hold their own in the movies, then kill off a main character to drive them through to the end of the trilogy. Just my thoughts.

Han Solo just spent six weeks recovering after falling down the Millennium Falcon's boarding ramp.
He's clearly ready for the Rebel Retirement Home.
