What will Luke Skywalker look like?

So he'll have a beard, ok. No problem there.
But what about the outfit?
I'm kind of hoping they won't go for the Friar Tuck look, aka Alec Guinness in a dress.
Hopefully, it'll be more dynamic, like a young Ben Kenobi.

I also wondered where Luke got his ROTJ look from?
Who gave him Jedi fashion advice?
Will he still have his black Jedi Knight gear on?

Since there are no Jedi left, I'm hoping Luke reinvented the concept, and said "forget the whole hermit, a Jedi can't know love thing".
I hope he settled down with a nice Twilek stripper girl, raised a family, watches Gamorrean football on tv, and enjoys life to the fullest while still honing his Jedi skills.
And wearing tattered monk's robes doesn't fit in all that...

I would love to see more of a McQuarrie-esque bodysuit, but I'm not sure Hamill has the thin physique to pull that off nowadays.

I believe this trilogy will have a completely different look and feel to it. I think they will slowly remove the iconic elements of the old series as they rebuild with new characters and new looks. Luke looking like Obi Wan seems too predictable and Lucas-inspired.

I think they'll play things pretty close to the originals, at least for the first few films. They know how Phantom Menace etc came across. Best example would be the new Rebels show, which is looking pretty old school Star Wars to me.

So far Rebels seems to have a nice mix. The Jedi guy looks more prequel to me though. I'm anxious to see how it ties in to canon.

I wouldn't mind if Luke did the Jedi thing in his own way. He's the last of his kind, and so he gets to reboot it the way he wants. He wasn't too keen on following Ben and Yoda's advice anyway, when they directed him to kill his father.
