Now I like the New Flipper because its darker and grittier storylines. Heres a dolphin who's lost most of his family to the tuna nets. You can see the conflict in his little eyes as tries to work with the very humans who have helped hunt his race to extinction.
where the classic Flipper was more family adventure fluff. It only delt with the regular poacher of the week. I feel it stole much from other series like Skippy the Bush Kangaroo..........

Remember when classic Flipper got amnesia? I do. I vote for old Flipper. But then, I've never seen new Flipper. But I still vote old. Nevermind. Please disregard my lame post about dueling Flippers.

I personally love the episode where old Flipper tries to drive his motorcycle over a tank full of sharks. But all those episodes where Lassie guest starred as Flipper's love interest were quite fishy IMHO.
The new Flipper spends too much time partying after hours, doing drugs and being seen with the likes of Britney Spears.Comment
