Boy, that looks like it's going to suck big time. Yeah, the original Giant Japanese monster movie feel is completely gone, it's now Transformers 6 or something, lame,
That trailer song sucked even more.
It's a sure fire pass from me...they will not be getting my money.

Wholeheartedly agree with you, Hec. This trailer feels like they took all the crappiest parts of the first movie and jammed them together into one. big stinky pile of kaka. Can we get yet another pronouncement regarding the Apocalypse? Or another little kid traumatized by either Kaiju or, apparently now, Jaegers? Or the stupid white, cheerleading dude shouting "That's what I'm talking about?" Ugh!!! The whole thing made me wince...sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.Comment

I'll still check it out because I enjoyed the first one so much.
Yeah, that song in the trailer is awful.
But Boyega as Pentecost's son is pretty cool.
And on the plus side... looks like there will be some battle action taking place in the broad daylight this time rather than in just rain-soaked or night-time environments. I know that irked some people about the first movie.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

Not a fan of Charlie Day's Newt Geiszler from the first film? I was.
I'm not as invested as the majority of posters in this thread... so, the tonal difference so many others are seeing? I don't see that as much in the trailer.
