Big APES event in L.A. in June

This sounds like it'd be a great event to attend for anybody in the area:

And, on a sidenote, there is a new APES book scheduled for release in October:

This book isn't the upcoming/updated version of Joe Russo's book ("POTA Revisited")... It's an entirely different book...

Hope you and others from here that are in that area will be able to attend this, it sounds like it'll be cool... (I'm nowhere near there, if I was, I'd ty to make it there myself...)

Did anyone here go to this? If so, who was there as far as APES actors/writers/artists, etc.? Any type of report would be cool to read... Thanks...

PS: I checked the above link several times and when I looked at it, it was never updated, that's why I'm wondering who their guests were...

Their marketing/communications for this event has been terrible. I've even requested additional info as they direct on their site and received nothing other than the ad-based newsletter.

Seems all the effort is for their upcoming auction instead of the con and exhibition. I was looking to make the trip, but the disconnect with information was disappointing.

**Well, I can't say they don't have some great items running in the auction… perhaps I'll find a way to support their efforts this way.
