    Battlestar Galactica Feature Film Planned

Looks like Universal has officially greenlit yet another reboot of Battlestar Galactica, this time as a feature film. By your command and so say we all.

That'll be interesting to see how they do it! It'll probably be a trilogy, as that seems to be the popular format

Again re-imagined. Strange that it seems to be a concept that no one is quite satisfied with, so it gets re-imagined repeatedly.

With Glen Larson producing I have hopes it will be closer to the original series.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I loved both series; I don't know if I can handle yet a third take. It's starting to feel "New 52"

Considering it will be a movie and not a TV series it has a chance to be either fun or painful.

                      FINALLY! Someone who GETS IT!!!

                      I HATED THAT SERIES!!!

It was so dark, dismal, depressing, and full of despair, I literally could NOT watch it for five minutes!

Here's hoping they go back to the original, or something like it.

I too am not a fan of Moore's series. I hope some of the fun of the original is brought back. I think they could go a long way by bringing back Stu Phillips' theme music.

                          I liked both.

Original will always be the best. But it did bother me how optimistic everyone in the series was days after their entire civilization was bombed out of existence. The new series handled that better with the darker tone. But the old series had way more charm.

I think a third take might be interesting.
                          Looking for:

--Lion Rock "Mr Rock's" shoes/ boots (these may also be the same as the lion rock monster line boots)

                          --Mystery Astronaught

They need to make the film from Richard Hatch's script though. I was lucky enough to see the trailer he filmed and put together with the original cast and was showing at conventions a while back. It would be awesome to see it realized in its entirety. I would much rather that than a reboot any day.
