Crud. I'd love to see Logan's Run on the big screen but ten pm on a school night makes it hard.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

It's a long drive, I'd be coasting on 5 hours sleep the next day, probably not gonna happen.
Taking the kids to Flash Gordon one afternoon? My second prize.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I'm really tempted to sit there all day/night Sunday and watch BSG, Planet of the Apes and Logan's run. Take a meal break during Tron though.
on Saturday, my pick is Superman at 11:00am.Comment

too bad the hydrofoil ferry between Rochester and Toronto no longer exists!
I was just about to complain about just how many Film Festivals we have in Toronto, and I caught myself. It's like complaining about too many ReMegos. When you live with an embarrassment of riches, it's best to just shut up about it because no one will weep for the fact that I can't possibly see a billion awesome movies any given month.
I just missed the Miyazaki film festival, the Cronenberg festival and exhibit is just wrapping up, Guillermo del Toro is presenting his favourite movies here like every other week, we also have the Stanley Kubrick exhibition and retrospective coming up.Comment

Darn,
The Galaxy cinemas here in Peterborough often run these Front Row Centre Events. I saw Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid a year or so ago.
Unfortunately it does not look like we are participating in this one.
But The Big Chill is playing here February 10, 16 & 19.

God, so many movies playing that I'd love to see on the big screen. It's at times like this that I wished I lived in TO, I'd be going to the movies every night.
Hmmm, that sounds like a nice idea....Comment

Big Screen, with the kickin' Queen soundtrack blasting from an awesome sound system? I'm totally in.

Supposed to be super cold up here so why not.

They did play it for an audience at the Superman celebration in Metropilis, IL that year. Great setting to see it.Comment
