Finally caught this movie on TCM the other night (never see it before)

I think it was a good suspense thriller up until the end

Killing off the hero is more akin to an episode of the old Twilight Zone than a theatrical production.

What do you think ?

I really like this film, & the novel is even better--it's more ambiguous, with a stronger sense of paranoia. Avoid the jokey remake at all costs.
