I debated posting this in the Monster Roundtable, but has anyone seen the teaser for Showtime's upcoming Penny Dreadful series? I plan to watch, but I am curious about the fact that the main characters (Dracula, Dorian Gray, et al) are from canonical lit and not penny dreadfuls...

I'm on the fence about it. They should have Sweeney Todd and Varney the Vampire.
