Another Gerry Anderson's UFO question (American vs British) side of the road.

Sorry to start a new thread but I couldn't find the old one.

Anyway, i'm almost done with the series and i'm trying to figure out the pattern on how they drive (American vs British) side of the road.

It seems they use both throughout the series.

Wouldn't that lead to some nasty accidents ?

    Anybody ever notice this ?

In the not so distant future, computer controlled cars can drive on any side, they automatically avoid each other!

Ahum...so no...I had no idea they used both sides, never noticed.
Do they use both sides in identical locations? So outside the HQ or something?
Or could they be located in different countries?

I think they started doing this to make the show more palatable to the US audience. However, the show had a mid-season break and a lot got lost in between.

        Interesting and totally makes sense

I was thinking some scenes were taking place in the US/Can but then I started question that theory because it kept jumping around.

BTW, I sooo wish UFO would have had at least another season

I miss the second in command and the girl on the moonbase.

Yeah, I really missed Alec and Gay as well.

Weirdly, the actress who played Alec's replacement Col. Virginia Lake is Benedict Cumberpatch's mom. They look a lot alike.

any chance that it is simply a matter of a reversed but of film changing the side of the road in some shots (only way to be sure is to look at license plates
