Just saw this on the BBC, what a great event!
As a fan of soundtracks, I have to say that the music was absolutely beautiful, and yes, at times I even got a little misty-eyed.
It was also a lot of fun (just see those kids react when a Cyber(stunt)man literally jumps into the aisle next to the people Iron Man-style and charges them).
With all the actual actors in make-up and costume (Vastra, Strax) and guest appearances by actors from both old and new Who.
A great suite of Classic Who music by the composers (live synthesizer music), and a conductor fighting the Daleks with a Sonic Baton (one Dalek drily remarks "this man is overacting! Exterminate!").
