Doctor Who' 50th: New pictures revealed *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*

Photos may have spoilers. Just saying:

A shot or two in this trailer *might* reveal something you wouldn't want to know.

Where was Matt Smith in that trailer? Have they already disowned him?

The way some people get upset I didn't want to take a chance. I was afraid someone would say, "Hey you ruined the scene where the Doctor is hanging from the Tardis for me!"

Ever since the news of the big Troughton find I haven't even thought about the 50th anniversary special.

I'm guessing Hurt's Doctor isn't as evil as thought seeing as he's hanging out with 10 and 11 in the Tardis.

I'm still hoping the Hurt Doctor is just an aged version of #8, his body beaten up by the rigors of the Time War. Makes more sense to me than sneaking in another regeneration.

Could Hartnell not have been the first Doctor, I wonder?

I don't think the BBC would tinker with the numbers

It's been too long Tom Baker has been known as the 4th Doctor etc.

Moffats been like Carmen Sandiego lately leaving little hints and clues about this. Keeps saying stuff like "get out your DVDs".

My guess is he planted the solution to this a while back and it'll make us feel dumb for never noticing.

It might be a cop-out but he did address this in The Sara Jane Adventures because he was saying publicly, at the time, he wasn't going to follow the 12-13 regen rule. The Doctor says to one of the kids he can regenerate like 500 + times. So now he's going to ignore that even tho it was in a Sara Jane ep.?

Could Moffat be hinting at the other faces seen in an episode of The Brain of Morbius? Or something to do with the Doctor transferring his regenerations in Mawdryn Unead? Other possibilities anyone?

only if you throw out the 5 doctors where Ricahrd hurndall (as harntells dr) says "I happen to be the Doctor The ORIGINAL you might say" and Davison specifically names himself the 4th regeneration, and Three Doctors where Bernard horstfall (the time lord) refers to Hartnell as the first incarnation

others could counter the brain wrestling in BRAIN of Morbius where the other face are (per the producers dvd commentary) prior doctors as they are shown when Tom in grimacing in pain but as a kid I had knew who the prior Doctors were so I always assumed those were Morbius regenerations losing to Tom

Russel T Davies wrote that and he's known for annoying the more otaku fans with little things like that.
