I can imagine, some BBC relic hunters getting chased by African natives into a sand-filled temple, poison darts flying.
They finally get to a dimly lit hall, where a huge trunk stamped "BBC Archives" lies buried in the dust, opening it up and going "Oh, boy, Web of Fear!!!!"
      .
      .
      .
"When things are at their darkest, it's a brave man that can kick back and party."

It's actually a private "contractor" who was one of the people integral to the orignal finds in Greece in the 80's. He contributed to the commentary for the Reign of terror animations. He made contacts with various TV companies while workig for an oil company and now has his own archiving company - he works with these overseas companies to preserve and restore their own TV history converting it to modern formating and this gives him access to look for any old britsh stuff - bbc and ITV. If he finds anything he acts as a go between to set up the BBC and the overseas company to try to recover the episodes.
