New Six Million Dollar Man comic comic

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better

If this is not a reimagining and continues the feel and tone of the actual series, they have my attention.

Nice, that artwork looks sharp and I like the quotes from Alex Ross!

Hey, thanks a lot for sharing. I haven't actually collected a comicbook since grade 10.....and I am seriously interested in this. Any idea WHEN?

Now there is a comic I will purchase...FINALLY. It's been decades since I've seen anything redeeming enough to get me to follow. A conceptualized "season six" from Six Mill is brilliant! Completely hits all the right buttons in me. Because I always felt like there was allot left in the tank when the series ended. Thanks for posting! I will be buying this. Too cool!!!

Right on Tom! I was very disappointed in Kevin Smith's reimagined Bionic Man series...it felt like a watered down imitation of the original. Now we can get back to the REAL Steve Austin! Add to that the fact they're going to produce highly detailed 40th anniversary figures and a statue? WOW. Who would've believed 40 years after the fact SMDM would have three different toylines going, a new comic series and a statue?

^^^ Dwayne, I've been in Six Mill Heaven for a while now. First I get the complete series from Time Life (worth EVERY dime). Then BBP releases some very cool Mego figures with lots of character selections digging deep into the series (beyond awesome); Then they put out the lunchbox tin tote replica; Craig is doing a great figure line in 3 3/4 inch (so very cool). And now we have all this!! Can we say with just a TAD of confidence that there has been a undercurrent of demand for Six MIll product for many, many years? This is too cool. And I'm SO GLAD Lee Majors is around to see the resurgence of it all. That has to be very rewarding for him, since I always got the impression he didn't think the series had made that big of an impression until after the show was released on DVD. What a revelation for him. That's very nice.

I bought the Time Life set too the very day it went on sale and you're right. It was a dream come true...sadly my box no longer makes any sounds when I open it, and I can't find a way to access the batteries.
