Agents of Shield pilot shown at SDCC. Anyone here see it?

It's tough to really accept the reviews of SDCC attendees on this. As nerds and geeks we tend to over react to numerous things like this, but it sure looks like this is going to be, as they say, must watch TV.

I will say the one thing I didn't like about the Avengers was Agent Coulsen dying. Looks like he's back and getting rave reviews as the leader that holds the team together.

I call this a dagger in the heart of DC by Marvel. If this show takes off they take the one thing DC has been better at...weekly TV shows. I really liked what I saw from Smallville and Arrow has been good too. Problem is when DC introduces characters, like say the Justice Society on their shows, they die there. Marvel can basically use the TV show to introduce new characters on the weekly show and then not have to use up valuable screen time explaining their origins, and get right down to the action in their movies.

There's been such an issue getting Superman and Batman squared away, and GL didn't exactly get rave reviews, so what are the chances of getting an actual JL movie. Could Cavill and Bana actually co-carry a movie if they had to? I actually think a 40's or 50's timed Justice Society might be a better lead in. With Marvel working on the Gauardians of the Galaxy, I really think DC should get on the train and see what's up.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

DC has to get over their lets keep doing what Smallville did pattern. Super Hero TV shows with costumes would work. They have to unchain the writers and get it done. SPFX cost is not a problem anymore as every SF show can have major space battles every week. You can do Super Hero action on TV too. You just look at some of the storylines from the animated shows. They are terrific. They need to employ these writers in live action too.
