I haven't seen this one in probably 30 years.
      Finally!

I think the only classics yet to be release are Zygons and maybe The Greatest Show in the Galaxy

Makes sense as the Zygons are coming back.

Just had a thought about the BBC re-releasing already released DVd's as special editions.

The older releases were BBC teamed up with Warner Brothers.

2-Entertain (todays releases) is owned by BBC

Perhaps they want WB out of the picture

The re-releases and special editions have largely been focused on stories where they felt the original DVD release could be significantly improved upon, either by using new image restoration technology which wasn't available at the time of the original DVD release, or by adding more special features.
Some of the early releases in the range came out well over 10 years ago.
(And also the BBC sees it as an opportunity to make more money. )

Maybe one day the tech will exist to completely remove Colin Baker & Sylvester McCoy from all their stories, and digitally replace them with other Doctors.

That's so harsh as both of them are excellent doctors they had no control over the content of the scripts they had to work with....Kind of like Matt Smith

While I can certainly appreciate that they had their fans, I absolutely hated them both in the role of the Doctor.
Both are undeniably good actors, but they were woefully miscast as The Doctor in my opinion, and they (along with many other aspects of mid to late 80s DW) typify the absolute nadir of the show.
Just one of JNT's many misdeeds as DW producer.
