more Space 1999 talk

Was watching a season-1 episode of Space 1999 last night.

It always bugs me how young and pretty 99% of the people are.

Compare them to our real-life current Space Station crew

Speaking of Barry, been watching him on Sunday nights on MeTV in the fugative.

I never seen the show before a few weeks ago.

As a kid, I always thought the Space: 1999 cast was much weirder looking than the Star Trek cast. Not just Morse, but I thought Bain and Landau were stodgy.

I remember reading that Professor Bergman didn't come back for season 2 was a combination of Barry not being too enthused and Freddie saying he wasn't good for the young audience they wanted. But silly me, as a kid Professor Bergman was my favorite on 1999.

About the rest of them, the closest that comes to mind is Sandra. And she was pretty (I certainly wouldn't toss her out of the moon buggy) but she is more cute-pretty and I could totally believe that.
