Star Trek Newspaper Strip

I never knew about this before at all -- and I read Spider-Man daily in our newspaper and remember the Hulk, DC Heroes, and Star Wars all getting their own strips and the brief spans our local paper would pick them up.

Apparently, the Trek strip came about right after TMP and was just released in a collection:

I know what the Amazon reviews are saying -- anyone here have an opinion on the strip?

I will have to order this. Thanks for pointing it out. I never really read them as a kid because they were not in my local paper, but I remember reading one or two of them in the paper when we visited my grandparents and thinking that it would be cool to have them in my paper. To be honest forgot all about it existing until I saw this thread.

I dopn't know that i ever knew about these. sounds interesting. books is a bit pricey though

so that volume on Amazon is not the complete series as it indicates. guess if sales warrant there will be a volume 2

I just got this book, and man is it ever cool! It's so big, it'll take about a year to read it all!

^^I Have that Digital collection and it is not on that. The DVD has the Gold Key, Marvel comic book, DC comic book, Malibu and all of the other incarnations prior to IDW. It is a great buy for that alone, though.
