I like Smith too. More so after we've learned he based his Doctor on Troughton's version.

I think Smith is the closest Doctor to the original series we've had, he borrows from earlier Doctors sure but most Doctors after Pertwee did that.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

It took a while for Smith to settle into the role (he was very manic at first), but now I really enjoy his portrayal.
I do not want to see him go, unless John Hurt would actually be next in line. That would be too much to resist....

>This way the Doctor's timeline will remain the same but they can sneak in an inbetween Doctor that officially wont count
They've already got three; Jenny, Donna still technically has the Doctor in her brain, and the weird pseudo-doctor from the other dimension.

That was my thought. In the pics that have been leaked we see him wearing the coat of Eccleston's Doctor. If he came before #9 where did he get the coat? It's not fool-proof logic but every new Doctor wears new clothes the previous one didn't wear.Last edited by johnmiic; May 25, '13, 7:55 AM.Comment

He could just be wearing a previous Doctor's coat. I mean, there has to be quite a wardrobe in the Tardis somewhere. Be thankful he didn't take Colin Baker's....
