I've come to the right place.

I will not give up on the movie. I feel it could happen.

I think there are still options being considered.

Many books are being re-printed right now. It's a good time to try them or read again in the new editions.

A new French Elric comic book is coming out soon, or is available now.

I think D&D movies and television series would be brilliant.

(not like the actual D&D movie I mean)

"GoT" is closer to D&D.

They should make Gord (Gygax) as well as Dragonlance.

+Forgotten Realms, at least Salvatore should be around the corner.

I think it's inevitable; considering how well known the character is. They've mined a lot of lesser properties for film. As to wether ot not it'd be a GOOD movie.... well, Elric has a lot of stuff that'd be considered questionable for a mass audience. Incest, murder, drugs, that whole "agent of chaos" thing.... and that's all the stuff that makes the series unique and interesting.

"The Sword and the Sorcerer" is even closer. GoT feels more "Warhammer Fantasy" to me' what with all the murder and such.

The Sword and the Sorcerer is a favorite.

The Anime, Record of the Lodoss War is a fun multiple character driven story.

Complete with a dwarf, elves, humans, goblins, dragons etc.

Big fan, I have all the comics and most of the books of the various incarnations. I did get lost somewhere along the way on the modern stuff. I'd be totally in for a movie or three.
