    Star Wars Posters

I keep up with this great site called Retronaut.com, they posted a stunning gallery of Star Wars posters today.

    Check it out:

Wow, those are great, and some of them are odd, but even those beat the snot out of almost any movie poster you see today. Totally a lost art, along with a good soundtrack.

Princess Leia looks freaking HOT on the original Hildebrandt poster. Too bad she didn't wear that outfit in the movie.
I like it even better than the famous slave bikini.

        Outstanding gallery.
The Hilderbrandt SW poster is my all time favourite movie poster. It's graced my wall in one form or another constantly since 1977.

I have the japanese version, the film was released in 1978 there, and thats why it has a picture of "oscar", also notice the deathstar has been printed upside down, with the round bit at the bottom, rather than the top.

I noticed the Death Star is printed upside down on both the Japanese posters, looks pretty cool.

Some great posters but the Russian ones look abit odd to me.

Wow, I remember having those Burger Chef posters back then. I love the art work on those.
