    Shazam!

So I got my SHAZAM DVD set from Amazon a couple weeks ago. Eleanor my 5 year old was loving the show and my Mego SHAZAM watches with us but E doesn't really get to play with him so I went on Amazon and bought her an EMCE SHAZAM for her 6th birthday (last saturday).

This week we watched the history of SHAZAM and 2 episodes of the SHAZAM cartoon on youtube. Tonight we watched the first 2 parts of the Captain Marvel serial. She is really into guessing who the Scorpion might be.

Lily (my 8 year old) has been watching as well.

    I am brainwashing my kids.

The TV episode I had the most fun with was the The Braggart because it featured the serial Billy Batson. The worst was the blind kid episode - besides thinking the kid was annoying, he told him his secret unnecessarily.

i liked that Delinquent showed Marvel say SHAZAM.

i liked the first episodes Joyriders- he stated he was a news broadcaster on break for the summer.

Could Bostwick get a dance belt - Lily keeps pointing out his package.

I'm glad you and your family are enjoying watching these as much as I did. I was worried the show would not age well, but is it earnest & charming without being too condescending. The frugal budget is not as evident as some other vintage kid-vid, thanks to location shooting.

Really pleased as well you're championing Cap to another generation. He's iconic & deserves it, IMO.

Have you done a Shazam! costume yet?
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.
