I missed this show while I was in college. I saw a couple of episodes here and there. Even if it's bad, it's Superman(boy) stories I've not experienced, which is great considering DC basically quit publishing any recognizable version of Superman.
yes, a different actor took over as SB
i think i only watched a few episodes of this show as well. i seem to recall the actor that played the teenage boy in the "Miri" epsiode of Star Trek playing Myx. he fit the part pretty well as I recall but it has been an awful long time

Yep. John Haynes Newton played Superboy in Season 1, and was replaced by Gerard Christopher for the rest of the series. At the time, I preferred Newton, feeling Christopher was too skinny, and he has a bit of a lisp. But having watched some of Season 1 when the DVD set came out, I have to say Newton is pretty wooden, although he looks the part.
But there is no doubt the series improved as a whole with Season 2.
And Michael J. Pollard did play Mxy, and the boy in the Trek episode "Miri". He was also in Bonnie and Clyde and Dick Tracy, both with Warren Beatty.
