Just had to share this with some who might appreciate it- In my new job, our company did some sort of efficiency study to try and determine how a broadcast facility should interact with digital platforms (web, mobile, second digital channels, etc.) and the name of result is something I've been barraged with since taking the job- Newsroom Of The Future.

Every time I hear this, I can only imagine my colleagues being forced to wear silver jumpsuits and transforming our be-cubicled office into a moonscape.

^^Or when you are broadcasting from the moon in your silver jumpsuit and jet pack but the video cameras are still as large as an elephant with the old RCA set of three rotating lenses. Oh, and also there would be rotary phones nearby, too.
