Have you noticed how many similarities there are between the SW and Max Max trilogies?
In the first one, the hero loses his family and goes on a quest.
The second one seems to be everybody's favorite, where the hero needs to find himself, suffers a hard physical blow and comes out damaged. He doesn't win the fight at this point.
The third one (Jedi and Thunderdome) are very alike: it's about the hero regaining his balance and finding his purpose. Both films also suffer from a sudden "break" halfway through the movie, when the "cute factor" (feral kids and Ewoks) is introduced. We suddenly go from hard action to Walt Disney, and lose half of our audience in the process.
I sure hope there are no Ewoks in the new Max film.
