Voyage to the bottom (of the pile of scripts)...

My question is: I'm at episode 15 of season 3 now.
    Does it get any better?
Man, the quality of the scripts seems to have hit the bottom of the sea!
Nelson has trouble with his "viral infection", meaning he's turned wolfman again. He doesn't want to bother anyone with it, tells no one, and proceeds to destroy the whole sub. Good thinking.
Then, the ship is haunted by his great-great grandfather's ghost. Again, Nelson says nothing and stands by, giggling like a school girl.
Who wrote these scripts? The producer's 10 year old nephew?
Was this season aimed at a schoolboy target audience?

I was meaning to get season 4 next, but I'm not so sure anymore....

Voyage turned into Lost in Space in the last few seasons.

If you're in it for cheap fun, grab season 4

If you wish to return to the season 1 days, I would suggest you pass season 4 up.

Personally, I like the dumb fun stories

I don't have an issue with silly stories (in fact, I'm waiting for the Lobster Guy I remember from childhood), but some plot lines are just too...stupid
Like, Nelson becomes a wolfman. They say it's lethal. I ask myself "why?"
Then he goes into a diving bell, and that cures him. I ask myself "why?"

I like silly stories, but they need to make a little sense at least.

Nelson as a wolfman is one of my favorite episodes

I think there's actual 2 episodes with him as a werewolf

Yep, he gets it twice. I never understood why he refused to tell Crane about it. He should trust his Nr. 2.

It kind of reminds me of the Jon Pertwee Dr Who episode Inferno.

Why would people become green werewolves from smelling lava from underground ?

That script writer traveled a lot between the UK and the US, I guess....

Have you got to the one where the clown hijacks the sub with wax-dummy duplicates of the crew yet and only Mr. Crane can stop them?

I like the later eps that get kinda silly myself. Especially anything w/ a creature. I don't like the first season as much, b/c it had more to do w/ spies and espionage than the sea. I love the pilot though, and The Fear Makers from first season, and I even liked the dinosaur ep!

No, but that sounds totally plausible to me!
