I still like "The Dalek Invasion of Earth" better than "Daleks Invade Earth 2150 AD."

The cushing movie was light-hearted fun (and in colour)......

But you can't beat the Hartnell series.

Y'know, you can start pretty much ANYWHERE. Just remember: each Doctor is very different from the others, so any episode you watch isn't gonna be representative of the whole series. Even different stories with the SAME Doctor can be radically different. (First season Tom Baker are completely different animals from last season Tom Baker episodes.)

Some Doctors are more different from others.... Davidson tends to be the most straight-laced of the bunch, whereas Colin Baker's Doctor has the occasional homicidal/psychotic episode....
