    Alien 3 3/4" figures.

    Paging CJefferys!
For those of us who remember in pain the cancelled Kenner 3 3/4" figures from the original 1979 Alien, Super 7 has answered our prayers!!!! Set to be released next year, Super 7 has access to the original prototypes!

I just put photos up on PS as well. The guys at Super 7 told me it was being worked on but I didn't think it would happen so quickly.

Soooo stoked for this. It's nuts to me that they have access to the original protos. Anyone know if the access to the protos is through a private collector or through kenner directly?

So who is Super 7? I just heard about them a few days ago. Never heard of them before (outside of Tarzan and... or Batman and...).

I would have been really disappointed if you guys were just pulling my chain about these. Now that I'm seeing actual pics, I'm stoked!

I guess they were only on one's radar in the past if you were a collector of Japanese toys. They publish a magazine, did some vinyls, etc. Making that Stormtrooper Jumbo Machinder gave them more exposure, and must have helped give them a foot in the door with Fox in order to get these made.

So Much Wantness. I really hope they keep to the original proto looks. The S7 gang are pretty with it so I'm sure it will be a pretty faithful reproduction job.

                      Very cool.
I first picked up on the supe7 mag with issue three (years back) - The photo spreads were like, if Ben Holcomb had instead done a book on vintage Japanese vinyl/robot/micro toys, but spread it out as a monthly. Ridiculously pretty.

I hope these turn out as sweet and retro chunky as they should - I'm in for multiples. Now if only they'd call me about that Tusken Raider Jumbo job (that is all in my head).

PS - can we just safely assume convergent interests for MM peeps rocking skeleton themed avies now, or what?

I don't have those contacts, but the last I knew of these was the photoshoot for Lee's Action Figure Digest when they were more or less leaked. I think there was just the one set of mock-ups existing, but I can't recall if they were private collection or what at the time. I lost track of them after that though they were published a few more times.

Very cool, I'm sure that there will be future lines because these will sell!

Is the scale compatible with the coming Prometheus line of Engineer figures? Or close?
