Chewie's getting old.
The SW original cast is postively geriatric. I met Kenny Baker last year, and he was almost on life support...

I've actually witnessed Kenny nodding off to sleep at his signing desk on more than one occasion.

The worst thing I saw was last year with Kenny Baker. Somebody leaned over the signing table and started petting Baker's head, like a pet hamster.
"You're so nice, Kenny, nice..." the guy said. Did he think he was talking to a child?

Baker himself seemed to weak to object, and the guy who was supposed to handle the financial transactions just ignored it all, thinking "as long as we're making money, keep breathing Kenny..."

One day, Baker is going to drop dead at his signing table, and someone is going to shout "Oh no, they killed Kenny!"

To get back to the Shoebacca post, it would have been more fun if the shoe had been brown, furry, and with the Chewie bandolier as a clasp. Now that's a shoe I would have bought as a Star Wars item!
