I liked Waterworld,it's a good film and Dennis Hopper is a great bad guy.

I enjoyed it. It's a little silly, but it's a better action/sci-fi movie than anything that has come out recently.

I think trimming it down to 90 minutes would have made it more fun - so I do think it's a fair that Coster gets slammed a little for his ego.

The Postman was unbearably bad to me, though.

I agree. I think Kevin Costner is a good actor! He has made some fantastic movies.

          Hmmmm....

It was okay; not bad, not good. I wonder what they fuelled them incendiary jet skis with though.

I always kind of liked WaterWorld. Sure, it has its flaws, but it's generally pretty entertaining.

I bought the 2 disc edition DVD a few years back which has both the theatrical cut and the extended cut.

I liked it when it came out. remember Jean Triplehorn being hot. Films that go over budget often get criticism in the press for that and it keeps audiences away at times.

Probably the closest thing to a Aquaman movie that we will ever see.

I think it got a ridiculous bad rep because of the budget, just like John Carter did this year.

The media was quick to label it a terrible flop when in reality, it's not a train wreck. It's your typical "popcorn big summer action movie" and I don't think it's any worse than "Independance Day" in fact, I like Waterworld better.

I loved the scenery and the premise but I didn't think the acting or script was very good. This is my Dad's favorite movie.
