Not sure if I would classify it as completely Sci Fi
but it has robotics in it.

RUNAWAY was an excellent movie and I thought it showcased the talents of everyone involved, Tom Selleck, Gene Simmons and wonderfully tasty Cynthia Rhodes perfectly! A good way to kill 90 or so minutes if you have the time to do so!

Haven't seen it in years since HBO used to play it all the time in the early 90's

I have mixed feelings about it.

Pretty good overall..... the one MAJOR problem I had
was the main character's son and the delivery of his lines... his part was too
significant to be so half baked.

I was (and am) a HUGE Magnum P.I. fan, so when this movie was released I was all over it. Great flick.

I have the movie on dvd. I love it, not for it being great- which it isn't, but for it being a cheesy bad movie with some big laughs.

A fun film, written and directed by Michael Crichton (w&d of Westworld, writer of many venerated novels, Andromeda Strain and Jussasic Park among them).

I went to see it in the theater because of Gene Simmons. It was surreal to see Gene in a business suit with slicked back short hair. Typical 80's sci-fi cheese but liked both Tom and Gene.

MIB41 and I both went to see it theatrically largely because of Simmons' presence and we both laughed our butts off when he was running through the fountain in one sequence because he was running like he still had his big ol' Demon boots on!!!
