    the Fringe Thread

    So who's a fan?

Other than Doctor Who, this is the only sf show I regularly watch.

I've enjoyed this seaon, especially the return of David Robert Jones but after the monster episode, I'd like to see him go away now.

What does everyone think of this Friday's episode? I can't figure out where they are going with this one.

Also, how does everyone feel about Fringe's finale being it's last with two endings in place should they not get renewed?

Just cleaned out my DVR on Friday, there was a great superhero joke in one of them when you find out the other universe version of Batman. It's a hero from a another cancelled Fox show...

I haven't kept up with this show since season 1 but it's really good. So because Nimoy has retired from acting was that a CGI Nimoy in the amber?

Still watching, but usually in chunks whenever the wife is not in Japan for business. Ditto Once Upon a Time. I'm a few weeks behind, but finding it suffers from the same thing most JJ Abrams shows do... meandering mythology. I'm enjoying it well enough at the time, but the payoffs just aren't strong enough for the build ups.

I am a huge fan of this show.. It reminds a lot of the X Files. Friday's episode was good but, I am also clueless about where the show is going. I hope it does get renewed for next season. If it doesn't, it would be just like Fringe to have two alternate endings.

They've just started here with season 1, so I'm late for the party.
The characters are interesting and you can't help but like them. I love it when Noble makes poorly timed remarks!

I Love this show. To me it keeps getting better and better. I wish the change from last season wasn't so sweeping, however this back and forth this year has been fun.

It's funny how DVRs have changed our viewing habits "Have you seen last week's ________?" is usually a "Not yet" now. The wife and I save up our Fringes for marathons.

I think this is great news.

The Fringe producers were begging for this in press statements last month, if they could get more episodes, they would wrap up the series in a spectacular way.

Now they have an opportunity to shut her down in a grand way. I prefer that to additional seasons where the show loses it's flavour.

Kind of hoping we see Mark Valley come back for some of the finale since human target was cancelled. They obviously had plans for him from the first season they weren't able to follow through with (I still don't know how he fit in with The Other Side).
