Gold Key Star Trek Comics Love Thread

I remmeber so many afternoons of reading those comics in my room. Any inaccuracies were completely overwhelmed by my love of Trek.

In one issue #3 I think, they have these twin curved buildings as part of an alien city that I once saw a picture of in real life. But I can't track down what real twin buildings it is based on.

I love that cover with the multi-color Kirks and the phaser rifle. I know they only used it in the pilot, but that is just a cool shot.

I love the early Trek publicity shots with Kirk, Spock and Rand holding...flashlights?!?
