Has anyone read Ender's Game series?

Just curious what you thought of it and whether or not worth reading?

I understand the first book in the series will be released in theater's in 2013. The plot line looks interesting enough.

I read the first three years ago - fantastic books, particularly the first one. Consider it highly recommended by a faceless internet entity.

I see books at the thrifts all the time, but I have a backlog of reading. I've heard good things though.

Not only did I have to read it, I had to teach it to my Freshman English class one year. I thought a Sci-fi book on the curriculum was going to be cool but honestly, I didn't care for it at all.

I loved this book and the entire series!! I have reread this book more times than any other book. If you cant get into Enders Game, I dont think you can enjoy any SCIFI.....that maybe a little extreme, but I really liked this book. I passed it on to my son, and started his current reading frenzy that has continued for three years non stop. You gotta like a kid, who can take it and turn it around on the bullies. An I really like the spin off series with his "Pal" Bean. Great character development, Orson Scott Card is a great Author. I've read all his old stuff, his new serious stuff, not as interesting for me.

I remember reading the first book as a teen.
