This figure is almost 2x's as tall as a Kenner R2-D2. The pic is not mine. I grabbed this from the net. I have also seen pics on the net in metallic yellow.

This figure of 7-Zark-7 has been re-released from time to time in a set of cheap action figures named Airgam Boys. I managed to score one of these 3 years or so ago on eBay. It was shipped internationally from Germany I think. So set your auto-watch filter on eBay for Airgam Boys and see when another of these pops up because I don't think it's too often.

Now THAT is SWEET! Love those! Cool score! Wouldn't it had been cool if they made one that lit up and talked?

I KNOW I didn't spend that much. I could see myself spending around $100.00. It actually retailed for under that amount back then (around $75 to $80.00), so I wouldn't have dunked $200. Purchases like that I would always wait until the show was closing or score them as an early bird deal before the show opened. So I likely scored a very good deal on it. I know one thing. After seeing what they go for today, I'm very glad I picked it up. I never thought BOP had a very strong market presence since those deluxe 12 inch figures hung around on comic shop shelves literally for years.

Takara, from what I know only did that as a cool alternative for collectors. After I got my Princess Jun, I wanted to focus on getting other CyGirls that were missing from my collection rather than dropping extra bucks for a figure that although great was not necessary to have.

I would have FREAKED for that as a kid. Along with a 7-Zark-7 figure... did any toys get made of him?

Thanks Supes! I really appreciate that. I went out on Ebay just to see if I could find it and my jaw about went slack when I saw the prices. I would definitely shop this puppy. Now clearly I bought it ten or eleven years ago. But I would think you can beat the prices out here. If I find a good one, I will certainly let you know!

Here are some pics illustrating the fun. Enjoy!

This Phoenix comes with everything. So lets pretend like she's taxing down the runway to pick everyone up. Here she is with the landing gear down.

Toward the nose we have loading gear which extends out to pick up Jason's car.

Here is Jason's car getting loaded. Sorry for the focus issue here, but you get the general idea.

Compartments under the wing open to snatch Tiny and Princess as they arrive. Tiny's side even has the grappling hook to snag him.

Here comes Mark as he approaches from behind...

    The back doors drop down...

Did I mention Mark's ship also has retractable wings just like in the show?

Slides in perfect and the hatches go back up. Perfect fit.

The hatches close under the wings to hold Tiny and Princess and the nose goes over Jason's car for a perfect fit.

The landing gear can now be retracted back in with doors that close shut.

Oh did I mention this little button on top pop's open the Phoenix' signature missile?

So on the stand sits the Phoenix ready to take flight. I know what your thinking...

"If only it could take flight as the fiery Phoenix..." Well it does!

A beautiful plastic cover that the Phoenix can be inserted into.

Well that about covers it. I can't think of a version of the Phoenix that does anything close to this much. I have loved this for so long and still consider it to be one of my prize jewels in my collection. Hope you enjoyed!

Very cool stuff! Nice to be able to play with your toys and not just have them on display.

Hidden card contest, your chance to win a new tom lands monster Frankenstein card.

In a scene we north American kids were shielded from due to network censorship, which of the original gatchaman Team was violently killed at the end of the first series? And how?

What was the name of the replacement character in the second series?
