Absolutely amazing collection WannabeMego! Let me ask you. What is the viewing experience for Gatchaman versus Battle of the Planets? Now I know 7 Zark 7 was created for BOP, so he is nonexistent in Gatchaman. But does the show still carry the same charm? Does it have the same soundtrack or does all that strictly ride with BOP? Just curious how much of a departure there is between the two.

That's awesome! Thanks for posting that. I've never seen it before. Now that is just the Battle of the Planets episodes and not the original Gatchaman version, right? I realize BOP is just an altered version of Gatchaman, but that's the reality I want to stick with, since that is what I grew up with.

Oh yes. Only complete one I have ever seen was offered by Giant Robot in SF and they wanted $500 for it. I passed it up, then re-thought it and then called about a year later and it was...gone. :(

This was 2010-2011, BTW. Not that long ago.

I don't know if you were suggesting that it did have all the BOP episodes, but I have the "Ultimate DVD Set" and it does not contain all the BOP episodes.

I don't have a multi-region DVD player and the only way I was able to buy all the US BOP episodes was a set of bootlegs from a seller on sell.com 3-4 years ago. Nowhere near the quality of the Rhino sets, but at least I finally got to re-watch the episode where Jason mows the Galactor goons down with the G-2. Worth it.

I don't think the American dubbed episodes will be any better in quality. The DVD's with the original Japanese episodes show how good the picture quality was.

    Is this SPAM, Lol?

They are totally amazing and I also want you all to know that next week on the site I am posting a very limited quantity of the new OSM Tee Shirts. 4 new shirts starring 4 characters. 2 from the first series and 2 from the second series. Their identities are a secret until next week. There are only 36 of each shirt and yes this time I did order 2XL as I was asked to by OSM fans at the Toy Tokyo show. Wait until you see all of the new stuff for 2012. Next week will also launch about 5 new amazing Bullmark Japanese OSM vinly figures. Stay tuned for those as well. Thanks so much as always, Gary.

I loved G Force as a kid. I had a Phoenix model. I think it was a really easy model. I loved it. No idea what happened to it.

I was surprised that the movie released a few years back was pretty good.

I always wanted action figures when i was collecting but now I would only get them if they were on close out somewhere (I still love them, I just don't collect)

The princess one has a remarkable outfit but what is the deal with her chest? i would prefer one that anatomically looked like her. she was a teenager with relatively normal proportions.

One of the first BotP things I found in the nineties as I was rediscovering the series. walked into the Chinatown mall on Spadina and just about freaked out seeing these little Superdeformed keychains.
