    Justice League: Doom DVD/BluRay

    Has anyone else seen it?

I really enjoyed it. I'm impressed with what Warner Bros. is doing with the DC animated movies. This one was especially well done.

Picked it up today. Seemed a little short but enjoyable nonetheless.

Really enjoyed JL: Doom. It's and old-school plot — a fusion of Mark Waid's Bable and Alex Ross' Justice mini series — but with some really great work by the late Dwayne McDuffie to give each character their own little action sequence against a villain. It's got equal parts action and character with each of the heroes getting standout moments. It's a super-hero team-up done incredibly well. Warners would be lucky to get as good a script for a JLA movie if the should ever align for them to make one.

I think this one will please the kids as well as older fans.

The voice cast is fantastic, bringing back favorites like Tim Daly, Kevin Conroy, Susan Esienberg, Michael Rosenbaum among others. And Nathan Fillion really did a nice job with Hal Jordan, whose arc had a good bit of emotion.

The special features are much like the ones on other DC Blu-Rays, but there is a really fine tribute to Dwayne McDuffie, who passed away last year.

The preview for Superman vs. the Elite, which comes out the summer, looks very good. It's based on Adventures of Superman 775.
